A Woy Woy family was lucky to escape injury, when a molotov cocktail was thrown at their home this morning.
Police say it was thrown through the front window of the home on Shoalhaven Drive at around 4:30 but fortunately did not to ignite.
They are now on the hunt for those responsible and asking the public to come forward with any information.
