  1. Coffs Harbour needs a place that is available for all ages to interact and Skate, BMX, play music and hang out with peers.

Areas which are hidden become a hub of negative activity. Toormina Skate park is hidden that is why vandels use the area. The actually BMX and skaters arent going to break glass where they want to ride or paint their ramps and make the slippery. All other towns up and down the coast have adequate facilities. And not everyone is capable of buying for sporting costs.

We need to support local talent and invest in our communities future.

What a great location at brelsford, open and very visible. It will be popular to all ages.

  2. I fully agree Peter. The park needs to be in a visual well utilised area close to the CBD so families of the riders can access shopping facilities and other facilities in the park. The current location is also ideal for visiting families who have younger children as well who will be using the kids playground on the other side of the park.

The current concept also caters for non riding youth who visit parks to watch the riders. The rideable stage and the swing concept will offer other talented youth an opportunity to utilise the plaza and hold various youth events. This concept will bring youth together as a community which is a vital part of connecting.

I am very excited to see Coffs playing an important role in our youths future sporting, artistic and conscious development.
