In Newcastle and Hunter Rugby, The Waratahs continue to impress, annihilating Southern Beaches 64-nil.
The Roos and Wanderers also won.
Merewether bounced back against the Bay, Hamilton belted the Blacks.
Maitland lead three-nil early but Hamilton’s Steve Sione put the defending champions in front.
The Hawks went looking for more, Nick Boyd scoring their second from close range.
The play of the day came courtesy of Villi Reae, his barnstorming run from deep set up Peter Bakarich who raced over untouched.
A dominant first half display was capped off by our very own Paddy Kilmurray.
