Port Macquarie’s three-time world champion body boarder, Damian King has announced he’ll end his professional career after competing in the South Coast Crusade this week.
King said last year he would retire at the end of 2013, but issues with sponsorship have brought his retirement forward.
He’d hoped to end on a high, and after finishing seventh in Hawaii at the first pro round of the year, he’ll do just that.
He’ll now focus on his family and a new career in real estate.
