The fisherman who was bitten by a three metre shark at Crowdy Head on the mid north coast yesterday afternoon, is now in good spirits, recovering in John Hunter Hospital.
51-year-old Allan Saunders was working to free a grey nurse shark from fishing nets when it attacked.
