HOLIDAY TRAFFIC BANKS UP

Heavy traffic is expected on the state’s roads tonight…as holiday makers set off for Christmas.

Traffic began building from this afternoon…with the Pacific Highway between Tomago and Hexham particularly heavy.

A reminder to motorists – Operation Safe Arrival is still in full swing…with double demerits in place until midnight on New Years Day.
