Manning-Great Lakes Police have charged a 78-year-old man with six firearms related offences.
Police were called to a home at Wingham yesterday afternoon, following reports a gun had been fired.
They allegedly seized five guns during a search of the premises.
The man is due to face Taree Local Court next month.
