GUPTON RE-COMMITS TO TAMWORTH

American basketballer Kyle Gupton returns to Tamworth on Tuesday, to help the Thunderbolts in their 2017 tilt at the State League championship.
After averaging 19.3 points per game last year, he’s the only import to have agreed to a second season in the north west.
It’ll be a limited pre season for the Thunderbolts, who won’t return to Yamba next weekend to defend their Prawn Bowl title, due to a lack of players.
Negotiations are on going with Maitland’s Waratah League outfit for a trial match, however Tamworth will travel to Inverell on February 11 to take on a local side.
