Newcastle coach Wayne Bennett still has a few decisions to make ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with the Raiders at Hunter Stadium.
Captain Kurt Gidley and forward Willie Mason are both nursing calf injuries, but got through Newcastle’s final training session this morning.
Bennett will finalise his squad of 17 an hour before kick off.
Meanwhile Canberra co-captain Josh McCrone has hinted there may be an aerial bombardment heading the way of Knights’ winger Akuila Uate.
