Federal MP Luke Hartsuyker is touring his Cowper electorate the hard way again – on a push bike.
For the fifth consecutive year, the National Party politician and a couple of friends are undertaking the ride to raise money for several local charities.
Today they rode from Maclean to Nana Glen with a stop in Grafton for lunch and a chat with some of their sponsors.
“We’ve had great support from cars along the way, tooting their horns and so on and managed to get some money for our collection bucket on the ferry at Lawrence – we’ve had a great ride,” Mr Hrtsuyker said.
Tomorrow the trio cycle to Macksville and finish up in Kempsey on Friday.
