Police are warning the public about a batch of LSD on the north coast, after a teenage girl suffered a severe reaction, leaving her on life support.
The 15-year-old girl took the drug, which she believed was ‘acid’ at a birthday party in Boambee East on Saturday night.
Later that evening in Toormina, a 15-year-old boy suffered hallucinations after taking a tab.
An 18-year-old man has been charged for supplying a prohibited drug and police warn more of the drug is likely to be circulating.
Police say the LSD has an imprint of recording artist Psy doing the ‘gangnam style’ dance on the paper.
