Here’s a charity drive or more accurately, dive with a difference.
More than 50 people participated in what’s known as a drift scuba dive along the floor of Swansea Channel with Sunday’s incoming tide.
They paid a small entry fee for the experience, covering about two kilometres from the bridge to a boat ramp.
The recent storm surge and heavy rain presented a few challenges, such as visibility.
The effort raised around $1,500 for the John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
