WRITERS FESTIVAL LAUNCHED

The event, which was launched today, will feature more than 50 writers, including local crime author Jaye Ford, and explore many topics and genres.

And in a major coup for organisers, British actress and new Australian citizen Miriam Margolyes will open the festival.
