RAAF RADAR WINGS HONOURED

Some of the oldest operational units of the Royal Australian Air Force were honoured at Williamtown today.
The 41, 42 and 44 Wings, formed during World War Two, are the eyes and ears of the RAAF, providing its radar, surveillance and air traffic control capabilities.
State governor, Marie Bashir, attended their 70th anniversary parade.
Early warning aircraft and over-the-horizon radar equipment were also on display.
