A Narara man has been fined $1,000 after pleading guilty to animal cruelty.
Adam Baker Dostine was charged following a complaint about his male Mastiff cross puppy.
An RSPCA inspector was sent to the man’s Narara home in November last year where they found the dog in very poor condition.
The puppy was then seized for immediate veterinary treatment.
Baker Dostine was also ordered to pay more than $2,000 in veterinary costs.
