Hunter singing sensation Catherine Britt has taken out Female Artist of the Year at the Country Music Awards of Australia in Tamworth.
It’s the 28-year-old’s third golden guitar in what’s been a stellar career.
Catherine paid tribute to her home city of Newcastle at the festival, performing ‘Charlestown Road,’ a song about the street she grew up in.
She’ll perform at CMC Rocks the Hunter in March.
