Forster police have charged a 60-year-old man, after he allegedly indecently assaulted a 17-year-old girl.
While in custody yesterday afternoon, fingerprinting revealed the man had given police a false identity.
Further investigation also found he was wanted on warrants in Western Australia dating back to 1997.
Western Australian police will be seeking his extradition.
