Now, it seems, he will stay at the Sea Eagles.
Speculation this morning suggested the Grand Final-winning centre had agreed in principle to an immediate move to the Gold Coast on a four year deal, worth $2-million dollars.
But late today, Manly powerbrokers quashed the rumours, releasing a statement saying Lyon would see out his contract at the club.
