Cavill Mall traders have endured 12 excruitiating months of disruption, but finally, redevelopment of the Surfers Paradise precinct is complete, at least for now.
This time-lapse, captured over the past year, shows, while much of the work was carried out underground, above ground, there’s more open space, free from clutter.
Almost seven million dollars was spent on the Mall, but the Mayor confirms it’s still in a work in progress.
“It’s the relief that it’s finally come to an end, I have to say, but you know I would like to have seen it finished even a bit better than that, we’ll revisit that, but let’s enjoy the facility right now.”
