Police have charged three teenagers with deliberately lighting fires near John Hunter Hospital late last week.
Officers discovered at least five separate ignition points which led to two large fires last Thursday night , with crews responding to another fire in the same area on Friday afternoon.
A 15-year-old from Rankin Park, 17-year-old from Elermore Vale and 16- year old from Wallsend have all been granted conditional bail to appear in Broadmeadow Children’s Court.
