WEATHER UPDATE: HEAT BUILD UP

The heat build up over the interior of the country remains.

Temperatures have been and will remain in the mid to high 30s. The coast has been very lucky getting fanned by southerly changes and NE seabreezes keeping the mercury just below 30 degrees for most.

This trend is set to continue.

The Hunter Valley like the North West is feeling the heat and tomorrow, Saturday the 5th, some of the that hot air will be pushed in across the MNC ahead of the next weak southerly change. Further north on the NSW coast to SE QLD onshore winds will produce some cloud but shower activity will be very limited so it is more of a mostly fine forecast.

Late Saturday and over night into Sunday another weak southerly will move in across the Central Coast and Hunter but once again the change will not be strong enough to clear the heat from the inland areas.
