A Tamworth man on a provisional licence was caught drink-driving overnight.
Police stopped the 24-year-old in Cypress Street, where he returned a high range reading of 0.173.
The legal blood alcohol limit for provisional drivers is zero.
He’ll appear before Tamworth Local Court at a later date.
