Police are investigating a violent home invasion overnight, where a shot was fired.
It’s believed several men claimed they were police officers and even showed a fake badge to try gain entry into the Chevron Island home.
With steel gates preventing them from forcing their way in, the offenders then shot a single round at the back fence and left.
“I felt like I was going to die, I felt like my life had flashed before my eyes. It was real scary”
