Tweed council’s water saving toilet rebate has made such a splash across the shire,
council has been forced to close its program six months ahead of schedule.
Local stockists and plumbers have been flushed with business since the $200 rebate was introduced in October.
During the initiative, council spent $400 000 replacing 2000 old thrones with eco-friendly dual flush systems.
