Road racer Damian Cudlin will compete in the Superbike Championship next year for the first time since winning the event in 2010.
The 30-year-old has just returned home to Taree after the best part of a year racing overseas.
He admits it’s been a mixed season, with some mechanical issues costing him points in the Endurance World Championship.
Despite the hiccups, Cudlin and his team at BMW still managed to secure a podium finish, placing second.
He’ll now spend some quality time at home, before heading back to Europe at the end of February.
