The intersection at Pulteney and Albert Streets in Taree’s CBD will be closed for up to 12 weeks, while work is carried out to replace the roundabout.
It’s the first stage in a major upgrade of Pulteney Street, which will see the road, footpath and drainage improved.
Greater Taree City Council says the area has been identified as a top priority due to ongoing maintenance issues.
The intersection will be closed from February second, with work to commence on the fourth.
