Two leading medical specialists will boost services at Armidale Hospital.
Doctor Graham Stewart will provide surgical services as a Senior Visiting Medical Officer and teach at the University of New England’s rural medical school.
While Doctor Kenneth Giplin has travelled from the United Kingdom to work as an anaesthetist at the hospital and also teach at the rural medical school.
Armidale Hospital Manager Dona Withnell says the new appointments will help bring the hospital back to full strength.
