POLICE STILL ON THE HUNT FOR TEENAGE ATTACKERS

Police are still looking for two men who attacked two teenagers at Hope Island yesterday afternoon.

The 14-year-olds were riding skateboards on Sickle Avenue, when two men jumped out of the car and attacked them.

One of the boys was slashed across the neck with a knife, the other was bashed and strangled.

“He cut him down the side of his throat and then the other guy came for me to get the remote for my skateboard.”

“I didn’t even think anything i was just saying how painful it was.”

“As a father it makes you very angry and you want to do something yourself.”

The men then took off with one of the boy’s motorised skateboards.

Both men are described as caucasian, in their early 20’s with tattoos.
