NBN News can reveal the Australian Tax Office is seeking what’s believed to be $350,000 from Nathan Tinkler’s Hunter Sports Group.
The HSG board is currently meeting to discuss the matter.
The group says a recent ATO audit of the Member’s Club uncovered the missing declaration.
It says the money will be paid to the tax office “in the normal course of business”.
