The Newcastle Permanent Building Society will cut its variable home loan interest rates by 20 basis points following the Reserve Bank’s decision to cut interest rates last week.
The Reserve Bank lowered the official interest rate by 0.25% to 3.25% last Tuesday.
It’s set to save customers with a variable home loan rate $37 a month on a $300 000 home loan.
