Bicycles took over the roads between Brisbane and the Gold Coast this morning for Queensland’s biggest bike ride.
It was a hot and sweaty trip for around 8000 people who took up the 100 kilometre challenge.
The event finished at Broadwater Parklands, raising money for Diabetes Queensland and the Heart Foundation,
“First time, first 100km made it and not dead.”
Some even dressed up for the occasion, while others opted to protest at the finish line, unhappy about Santos sponsoring the event.
