Some of the AFL’s finest could come to Lismore in the future if an overhaul of Oakes Oval is approved.
Council will decide on Tuesday whether to conduct a feasibility study into the cost of extending the grounds, which could pave the way for a pre season NAB cup clash.

Council claims the proposed expansion will also be dependent on a funding commitment from AFL Australia.
