A Sunday night in turned into chaos for Circle on Cavill residents.
Parts of the highrise were evacuated, after smoke was seen billowing out a room.
Around 50 people spilled onto the footpath, while firefighters searched the building.
The cause turned out to be an electrical fault in the plant room.
