Gold Coasters now have another reason to eat and live well, with the city’s first sustainable market launched today.
The precinct is the latest addition to the popular Burleigh Heads Farmers Markets, and features health practitioners, lifestyle tips and organic fruit, veg and meat.
“The more people can connect to our farmers, the better they know their food – where it comes from and how it’s grown.”
Many of the growers are from northern New South Wales.
“King of the products would be our garlic aoli, which is everybody’s favourite and we struggle to keep making it.”
