A man was killed after the car he was a passenger of crashed into trees at Edgeworth last night.
Police believe the car was travelling east over the crest of a hill when it left the road and crashed into trees at around 8pm last night.
The man was trapped in the car for some time and died at the scene.
The 20-year-old male driver was taken to John Hunter Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
