A man has been charged over an alleged domestic violence incident in Taree.
A 35-year-old woman was repeatedly punched by a man who then damaged her phone at a caravan park on Manning River Drive shortly before 10pm on Saturday.
She was then forced to flee the cabin with her three children when a fire was allegedly lit by the man.
A 37-year-old man was arrested nearby and charged with a string of offences.
He was refused bail and will reappear in Forster local court tomorrow.
