60 STOLEN DIRTBIKES SEIZED AT CESSNOCK

Police say they’ve rounded up 60 stolen or illegal dirtbikes at Cessnock in just four months.

Operation Rider began in June, encouraging members of the public to report illegal dirtbike activity.

Some of the bikes confiscated were unregistered, or have faulty and dangerous parts.

Several arrests have also been made.

People can still come forward with information about stolen dirtbikes via Crime Stoppers.
