A security alarm has saved St Carthage’s Primary School in Lismore from being burgled.
A number of intruders forced their way into the school’s administration building on Sunday night, triggering the alarm system.
Police say the offenders fled empty handed.
Special forensic police have examined the scene and investigations are continuing.
