It’s hoped the recent performances… of Gold Coast olympians Jacob Clear and Tate Smith entice hundreds of youngsters to tomorrow’s Surf Life Saving Open Day.
Clear and Smith have become local life saving legends after winning gold in the K4 1000-metre canoe sprint.
110 Surf Life Saving Cubs throughout Queensland and New South Wales will roll out the welcome mats tomorrow for everyone aged 5 to 95.
The volunteer patrol season runs from September through to May.
