Southport residents were also ducking for cover, when a street was blocked off and swarming with police late last night, after reports of gun shots.
Police doorknocked homes in Ward Street… searching for clues… with no luck.
“There was 4-5 shots or they might have been backfires from a car. I don’t know, but 10 or 12 cops showed up.”
Even in daylight, no evidence of gun shots could be found.
