A Kyogle man will face a committal hearing in November, charged over the alleged manslaughter of 35-year old Darryl Close.
Police allege 28-year-old Shaun Robert Hyde punched Mr Close outside a local pub late last year, causing him to fall and hit his head on the concrete pavement.
He later died in Gold Coast Hospital.
