Plans for a new, seven-storey civic courthouse in Newcastle are in jeopardy.
An independent assessor has recommended to the Joint Regional Planning Panel that the $94-million development be refused… describing the proposed 25 parking spaces as inadequate.
The Newcastle Bar Association says parking has been the problem from the outset – and it creates other issues.
It says the development must be done properly.
