A village on the mid-north coast is one step closer to being connected to the regional sewer network, after council awarded tender for its construction.
Young and Sons Excavation will be responsible for sewerage reticulation in Heron’s Creek, while Kazac Civil will take on the pumping station.
The six-village project will eventually connect Beechwood, Long Flat, North Shore, Comboyne and Telegraph Point, with work commencing at the end of the year.
