A 17-year-old Tamworth boy has been refused bail, after his alleged involvement in a police pursuit overnight.
The chase began in Suzanne street when a car was stolen from a nearby home.
“During that pursuit road spikes were deployed on two occasions in an attempt to stop the vehicle unsuccessfully and the pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns,” Oxley Local Area Command Inspector Philip O’Reilly said.
Police say the teenager was a passenger and was throwing items at their car during the chase.
