There was a lucky escape in Breeza this afternoon after a tractor collided with an empty coal train at a level rail crossing.
At about two o’clock, emergency services were called to the Kamilaroi Highway, south east of Gunnedah, with reports the tractor driver couldn’t be found.
He was located a short time later, without injury, while his machinery was minimally damaged.
