A dashcam video captured near Kearsley has gone viral.
The video shows a hooded man standing in front of his ute in the middle of the road.
Concerned it was a carjacking attempt, the driver speeds away, while the man charges at the vehicle and screams.
Central Hunter Police say the hooded man has since been arrested for unrelated drug matters.
