A 26 year-old man has been arrested, accused of trying to rob the South Tweed McDonald’s drive thru with a socket wrench just after 2.30 this morning.
The quick thinking teller slammed the window.
Highway patrol arrested the man as he attempted to cross Munjunbal Drive.
He’ll face court tomorrow.
