A 35-year-old man has died in Gold Coast Hospital, after an assault outside the
Exchange Hotel in Kyogle earlier this month.
Police say the victim was allegedly punched, before falling and hitting his head on the pavement, causing serious head injuries.
A 28-year-old man has been charged over the incident and will front court.
The hotel was closed at the time of the incident.
