Prison guards have discovered a fake wall during a routine check of a cell at the Grafton Correctional Centre.
They were inspecting a minimum security area on Saturday when they noticed irregularities in a wall that had bricks removed then re-set.
On closer inspection, the wall collapsed, revealing a large hole, big enough for a human to squeeze through.
Tools made inside the jail were also found wrapped inside a T-shirt.
