Two police officers in the Gold Coast region have been stood down, over the alleged bashing of a young chef in the basement of a police station.
Noa Begic claims he was assaulted after being arrested for public nuisance and obstructing police in January.
A 35-year-old Senior Constable and a 53-year-old Senior Sergeant are both under investigation for the use of excessive force.
It comes as charges against Mr Begic are set to be dropped by prosecutors in a Gold Coast court tomorrow.
